My life doesn’t fit me anymore. I was always able to rely on myself, but now I notice that I sometimes feel weaker. This makes me feel insecure; I don’t know how much energy I will have for new projects anymore and am afraid that I will not be able to cope; When I compare myself to others I am permanently disappointed with my performance.

Today’s society attaches great importance to outside appearance. Social media such as Instagram, dictate what we should look like and how we should act. This results in a lot of pressure - especially when we feel we can no longer keep up. If we run into the added pressure of physical and health issues and restrictions we can end up in a midlife crisis. Learn to shift down a gear with me where necessary in order to enjoy the view and life more.

Let’s discover good new ways to
regain control of your life; learn how to deal with new limitations in a good way mentally; leave the pressure of constant competition behind you.

Ever since entering menopause, I have not been myself anymore - I keep freaking out or crying for no reason whatsoever; my children have become independent and don’t need me anymore but I am unable to find a new goal in life; I don’t feel attractive anymore and this is upsetting me and making me feel insecure and unloved.

Menopause makes a woman realise that she is irrevocably moving on to a new phase in her life. Often this phase also entails caring for older family members and at the same time dealing with children undergoing puberty. Or it may be having to come to grips with the fact that motherhood was not meant for them in this life. Not surprisingly this may lead to a midlife crisis. I will be happy to help you master it and to tackle and resolve challenges along the way.

Let’s discover good new ways to
give you the strength to cope with the daily challenges; protect yourself and your time where necessary; learn to deal with physical and psychological change positively.

About me

I spent the first half of my life actively exploring the world and discovering a lot of exciting new opportunities along the road. My private and professional goals were clear to me and where they became unclear I adjusted them without stopping to think too much. My diploma in business administration led to successful self-employment and my wish for children was rewarded with two wonderful daughters.

Entering the second half of my life had me stand in front of major and new challenges though – both privately and professionally. It took me a few years to realise that my new and fulfilling career path as a coach and all the wonderful training I had received along the way (coaching, mediation, crisis management, behavior therapy, grief and family counseling just to name a few) would not have happened without my crisis. Would I have therefore welcomed it in retrospect? Definitely not and that is probably why crises sometimes happen – so that we grow in spite of ourselves. I am very happy to support you in making the most of your crisis and your future.
