About me

As a mother of two lovely grown daughters, I have been through the challenges of motherhood myself and know how long the list of endless to dos can get.

As a working mum I helped found two day care centres. I learned a lot about childcare and family life in the process – from committed childhood educators I worked with but also from other families some of which are still good friends today.

In the course of my training and work as a coach, it became increasingly clear to me that our family of origin has an enormous impact on how we think. This is where our ideas about the world get formed, and the beliefs we take on as a result can turn out to be obstacles in later life. This is why I decided to become a family counselor at familylab (Jesper Juul) later on.
